After an incredible time camping, climbing Snowdon, and zip-lining down Penrhyn Quarry I feel relieved and enlivened.
Although we were all there from a personal tragedy of our own, when we came together we were able to live on better with our grief.
I'd gotten to a point with my grief where I was managing, but talking and listening to one another has already helped me feel like I'm further ahead with processing my tragic losses.
The comradely and empathy demonstrated by the StrongMen beneficiaries and leaders alike has helped me have the confidence to examine the grief I'll live with and the sense that it isn't going to only weigh me down, that I can work with it and manage what it means to me.
In short the grief isn't going anywhere but I feel my life can and will go places more and more, thanks to the service of this invaluable charity and the exemplary people that make it happen.
