Hi, my name is Gary and I lost my sister, Jo, very suddenly in March 2021. The devastating news that my beautiful sister had passed away and her beautiful son, turned my world upside down.
I didn’t know what to do with all the emotions I was feeling. I had great support from my wife, but I needed help.
My brother in law, Ben, mentioned StrongMen to me, so I contacted them and they were very helpful. They put me through their peer to peer support via Man2Man this really helped me.
Since doing this, I have been on a weekender climbing mount Snowdon, the Academy Weekend and their 5th Anniversary Weekend which was amazing.
To have time with other men who have been through similar experiences, has been so helpful and made me realise that I am not alone in this.
